Soccer fans of Leeds, the club where Gary Speed won the title in 1992, gathered at Elland Road to pay their respects to one of their heroes. Manchester United striker Michael Owen, who had attended the same school as Speed in Flintshire, said the 42-year-old football manager was a rare player who was respected by all supporters. Cheshire Police said the inquest into Gary Speed's death will be opened at Warrington Coroner's Court tomorrow at 3pm.

Speculation is rife Villas-Boas could be fired if he fails to arrest a slump that has seen Chelsea slide out of the English Premier League top four and in danger of failing to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.

In other Saturday matches, it's Manchester United vs Newcastle and Arsenal vs Fulham. Of course, MU and Arsenal will win.

It was a sad day for Arkansas' football team. Garrett Uekman's cause of death is still unknown, but the 19-year-old student was last seen playing video games in good health by a roommate approximately an hour earlier before he died. Uekman was recruited by the Tigers before signing with Arkansas.
